About

Building on her lifelong passion for horses. Courtenay Fraser has been teaching and training professionally since 2002.

Alongside of Courtenay’s teaching career, she has also been a very active competitor herself, earning both her USDF and Dressage Canada Gold Medal Rider Awards. Early in her riding career Courtenay also became a member of the 2000 NAYRC Canadian Team.

Courtenay has a true appreciation for what dressage can do for all types of horses. Through a fair and systematic approach Courtenay hopes to instill long lasting and correct training for both the horse and rider.

Teaching and mentoring her students has become a huge part of Courtenay’s life. She takes pride in being very hands on, supportive, and helping her students navigate their Dressage journey. Whether you are a Young Rider, Adult Amateur, or wanting to start your Dressage journey, Courtenay is happy to help cater a program that will work for you.

Courtenay credits much of her success to the wonderful training and mentoring she has received over the years. Dietrich Von Hopffgarten, Jeremy Steinberg, Sue Blinks, and Roanne Tyson were instrumental in helping Courtenay develop strong foundations in her early years of riding.
